Sold my Nikon D50 and bought a Sony A55. Here are 3 images. First is a RAW without any retouch followed by a couple of adjustments in Aperture. Playing around just to see what the adjustments are.

I also took a couple of pictures of a duck in our neighbor's tree checking out a new duck box. First an untouched photo followed by a heavily tweaked one.
